From £29/month covers a standard business website: up to around eight pages, a contact form, a news or blog section, galleries and the editor. Larger sites are priced on the number of pages and features. Anything with logins, bookings, payments, customer data or multiple locations is software, and is quoted as a project below. Is there really no set-up fee?
Correct. The design and build are covered by the monthly plan. You pay from the month the site goes live.
What is the contract?
An initial term of 12 months, which covers the cost of the design and build, then it rolls monthly and you can leave with 30 days' notice. If you leave, the domain, the content and a copy of the site come with you.
How quickly do you respond to support requests?
Small changes and questions are usually answered the same day, seven days a week, and always within one working day. If the site is down, we are alerted automatically and start on it straight away.
What does "from £29" cover?
A standard business website: up to around eight pages, a contact form, a news or blog section, galleries, the editor, and everything on the included list. A bigger site costs a little more per month, agreed up front. Booking systems, member areas, online payments, customer databases and multi-location or multi-tenant platforms are software projects, quoted separately with a written scope.
Is email included?
Mailboxes are not included, because most businesses already have Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and it is cheaper to keep them on your own account. We register the domain, set up the DNS records for your email, including the ones that keep it out of spam, and help you connect it. If you have no email yet, we will recommend an option.
What counts as an update?
Content, design and functional changes to your site: new pages, new photos, a changed layout, a new form. Large new features, such as a booking system, are quoted as a project.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your name and, if you ever leave, we hand over the site and the content.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. Every site comes with a simple editor for text, photos, prices and posts. Anything structural, just ask and it is done.
How quickly do I see a design?
Usually within days of the first call, in your browser, so you see the real thing rather than a mock-up.
Do you work outside Cambridge?
Yes. Most of the work happens online, so we work with businesses across the UK. Around Cambridge we are happy to meet in person.
